I'm a Brooklyn-based writer, illustrator, and labor & birth doula.

 

My work has appeared in Vogue, Bon Appétit, Glamour, The Drift, Elite Daily, Bust Magazine, Interview Magazine, Outside, Backpacker, Shondaland, Lonely Planet, Literary Hub, Gossamer, Autostraddle, Electric Literature, The Rumpus, Hobart Pulp, Trails Magazine, Lux Magazine, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Broccoli Magazine, Pigeon Pages, Artsy, Capsule98, It's Nice That, Split Lip Magazine, Kitchn, The Brooklyn Review, and Inside Digital Health. I've made comics for The Belladonna Comedy and illustrated videos for Barnard College and LitWorld.

 

I have an MFA in fiction from Brooklyn College, where I was a recipient of the Truman Capote Fellowship. In past lives, I was a researcher for TED Talks, a fiction editor for The Brooklyn Review, a reader for Pigeon Pages, and a peddler of organic apple cider donuts
