I'm a Brooklyn-based writer, illustrator, and staunch advocate of the Oxford comma.

My words and art have appeared or are forthcoming in Bon Appétit, Glamour, The Drift, Bust Magazine, Interview Magazine, Outside, Backpacker, Shondaland, Lonely Planet, Literary Hub, Gossamer, Autostraddle, Electric Literature, The Rumpus, Hobart Pulp, Broccoli Magazine, Trails Magazine, Lux Magazine, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Pigeon Pages, Artsy, Capsule98, It's Nice That, Split Lip Magazine, Kitchn, The Brooklyn Review, and Inside Digital Health. I've made comics for The Belladonna Comedy and illustrated videos for Barnard College and LitWorld.

I have an MFA in fiction from Brooklyn College, where I was a recipient of the Truman Capote Fellowship. In past lives, I was a researcher for TED Talks, a fiction editor for The Brooklyn Review, a reader for Pigeon Pages, and a peddler of organic apple cider donuts
